Built around the first impression.
Focus Nest Media was founded in 2021 by Michael Enriquez with a simple purpose: to help real estate professionals present their properties with clean, polished, and intentional media.
Michael first started photographing rental listings and Airbnb properties for new landlords and hosts who wanted to improve their online presence and separate their spaces from the competition. What began as a way to help owners create stronger listing photos grew into a real estate media company focused on professional property presentation.
Since then, Michael has photographed hundreds of homes across New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Today, Focus Nest Media serves agents, brokers, investors, hosts, business owners, and property professionals who understand that the first impression often happens online.
Helping spaces get noticed.
Before a buyer schedules a showing, before a guest books a stay, and before a prospective client visits a space, they usually see it online first.
That first impression matters.
Focus Nest Media exists to help agents, brokers, and real estate professionals showcase their properties in the most appealing and accurate way possible. High-quality property media helps a space feel more inviting, easier to understand, and more memorable before someone ever steps through the door.
Our goal is not simply to take photos. Our goal is to help each property feel clean, bright, polished, and ready to compete online.
Whether the project is a residential listing, rental property, Airbnb, investment home, business space, or larger real estate media package, every shoot is approached with the same intention: create visuals that support trust, interest, and action.
Our approach.
Every property is different. Some spaces need a fast, efficient media package. Others require more detailed lighting, composition, and editing to bring out the best qualities of the space.
Focus Nest Media uses both HDR and flambient photography techniques to accommodate different project needs, property types, timelines, and budgets.
HDR Real Estate Photography
HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. This technique blends multiple exposures of the same image to balance bright areas, shadows, and midtones.
In real estate photography, HDR is often used to capture a room that has both darker interior areas and brighter window light. By blending several exposures, the final image can show more detail throughout the space.
HDR photography is efficient, flexible, and well-suited for many standard real estate listings. It can help produce clean, bright images while keeping the shoot process streamlined.
HDR is often a good fit for:
- Standard residential listings
- Rental properties
- Smaller homes
- Investment properties
- Budget-conscious projects
- Listings that need quick turnaround
Flambient Real Estate Photography
Flambient photography combines flash and ambient light. The word comes from blending “flash” and “ambient.”
This technique typically involves capturing one or more natural-light images along with flash-lit images, then blending them during editing. The result is a polished image that keeps the natural feel of the room while using flash to improve color accuracy, reduce harsh shadows, and create a cleaner final look.
Flambient photography can create a more refined and controlled image. It is especially useful when a space has difficult lighting, strong color casts, dark corners, bright windows, or interior finishes that need to be represented more accurately.
Flambient is often a good fit for:
- Higher-end listings
- Architecturally interesting homes
- Interior design-focused spaces
- Short-term rental properties
- Business interiors
- Spaces where color accuracy and polish matter
Real spaces, real work.
From compact rental listings and classic bungalows to short-term rentals, here’s some of the work we’ve been commissioned for:
394 Piper Blvd, Detroit, MI

This Jefferson Chalmers Airbnb on Detroit’s east side was photographed using the “flambient” technique.
From the sleeping area and kitchenette to the entry and bathroom, each image was composed to show layout, function, and comfort clearly.
These images helped the host create a stronger online presence and give prospective guests a better feel for the stay before booking.

1112 Brabec St, Pittsburgh, PA

This Troy Hill Airbnb in Pittsburgh was photographed using the flambient technique to create bright, balanced, and polished listing images.
The shoot focused on showing the full guest experience — from the exterior and entry to the kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and layout flow.
Strong short-term rental photography can improve listing presentation, build trust, and help a property compete more effectively online.
618 S Gainsborough, Royal Oak, MI

For this Royal Oak sale listing, HDR photography was used to create clean, bright, and buyer-friendly images for online marketing.
Each photo was composed to help prospective buyers understand the layout, finishes, natural light, and overall feel of the home.
The final gallery gave the listing a polished first impression across MLS, social media, and digital property promotion.

22212 Mylls Ct, St. Clair Shores, MI

For this Saint Clair Shores sale listing, HDR photography and drone media were used to showcase both the home and its surrounding context.
Interior images helped present the layout, finishes, and natural flow of the property, while aerial photos added exterior perspective and neighborhood detail.
The final gallery supported a stronger online listing presentation designed to attract attention before the first showing.
Braxton Grooming Lounge
22841 Woodward Ave, Ferndale MI
